Raised on
Long Island, Jeff received his Associates Degree in Business
at Suffolk College in 1985. He transferred to Penn
State at University Park, PA to complete his undergraduate
studies, earning a Bachelors of Science in the Marketing
discipline in 1988. RJR Nabisco Brands, who had taken
Jeff on as an intern in the last summer of his time at Penn
State, offered him a sales position calling on accounts
across Long Island. Thus began his career, one which
would lead him to Lancaster armed with one of the top
resumes in the Real Estate industry.
Jeff has worked for several multinational corporations, rising from route sales to managing large accounts and working daily with company chairs and officers. Along the way Jeff acquired his MBA in Business Management at Dowling College in Oakdale, NY. More importantly, Jeff has operating a multimillion-dollar internet sales division and in that capacity handled innumerable customer service calls, successfully resolving the vast majority. This in combination with his years of consultative sales experience has given Jeff an innate feel for the needs of the customer which he has successfully integrated into his Real Estate practice.
As a top agent, Jeff earned the Presidents Club for sales. In addition, he earned top salesperson honors that year. Jeff is a Seven-Time recipient of Service Award - bestowed upon him by satisfied clients!
In addition to the sales laurels he has garnered over the years, Jeff has grown in his walk of Faith, which has enhanced his "people skills" and furthered his desire to help his Real Estate clients achieve their goals. Jeff has been quoted and featured in the Lancaster Newspapers, Central Penn Business Journal and the Wall Street Journal on various real estate topics. In 2006 Jeff authored a new book entitled "A walking tour of Historic East Petersburg" featuring some of the great historic homes in his home town. Jeff is a tireless advocate of historic preservation and works with Lancaster County preservation officials to forward that movement.
In his community of East Petersburg, PA Jeff is active as the Mayor, sits on the committee that is developing new zoning regulations as well as the committee organizing the annual East Petersburg Day festival held in September. He is married to wife Susan and is a father of two boys & a baby girl.
A strong advocate of sustainable energy and energy conservation, Jeff has taken the extraordinary step of creating the first "Green" friendly real estate practice in central Pennsylvania. Jeff was the first "Green" Designee of the National Association of Realtors in Central PA, and is active in a number of regional associations supporting sustainable building and green homes. Jeff is associated with cutting-edge professionals in the Lancaster County area in the green services fields of solar, LED lighting, home performance, building and remodeling. "I feel this is the next paradigm for real estate to enter into" Jeff says candidly when asked. "If homeowners aren't aware of this yet, they will be in the next 2 years".
Most recently, Jeff has taken his love of photography to a new level, with a new venture entitled JeffG Photo.
